ARE THERE DOGS IN SHANGHAI?
You bet there are! More than a half million, according
to the Shanghai Star. And they are multiplying!
The China Daily (2/14/2005)
reported there are 150 million pet dogs in China-- that's
about one dog for every nine people. So the numbers are with us, but
sheesh, it's not easy owning a dog in Shanghai. Oftentimes, it seems
like you're on
your own.
