Mr. Muscle I salute you.
Mr. Muscle is the turbo button on my A/C unit. Basically once things are setup for the summer, the only buttons I dare press on the remote is “on/off†“up†“down†“mr. muscleâ€. If I start pressing anything else, I’m liable to start getting hot air coming out or something. And when you are hot and sweaty and gross… there is no room for trial and error.

Fruit of the Week: Longan
In chinese its (long2 yan3). I like to think of it as a not as good version of a lychee. Its a bit smaller, not as juicy, not as sweet. But i do sort of enjoy opening them. You sort or crack the outer skin around the outside with your thumb nail as you rotate it.

It’s On Like Donkey Kong
So it’s been hot here in Shanghai lately and we have become addicted to the A/C. but no more. Starting now we have a family wager going where there will be no A/C used in the house for the next 7 days. We’re just trying to live out our quiet lives of desperation here and do our part for Energy Conservation.
